Over 40 Summertime Style. My Stitch Fix Clothing Review.
A review of my latest summertime Stitch Fix box. A haul of cute, cool and totally adorable Stitch Fix clothing!
It’s been a while since I’ve posted about my Stitch Fix boxes. What can I say? School’s out and summer’s in full swing. Road trips, travel, annoying my teen.
Receiving this Stitch Fix box was a wonderful surprise, in the summer fun, I’d forgotten when it was coming.
I’d left a very detailed note about exactly what I needed. Did you know that one of the best ways to get your very best Stitch Fix is to communicate with your stylist? Let them know of any specific items you want, or events you’ve got coming up. Here’s a link with some great tips on how to get your very best Stitch Fix.
So here’s what I had requested to get me ready for summer in the notes I sent to my stylist :
A pair of mid heel espadrilles.
A casual summer dress that would be comfortable, not too constricting. That I could dress up or down.
Cool, summertime tops that I could wear with jeans, pants or skirts.
I totally loved what my stylist sent!
Here are the photos and info on the wonderful tops, shoes, and sundress that my stylist sent.
Daniel Rainn-Dakota Crochet Detail Halter Top
Love this top. It’s flattering, flirty and has wonderful crochet detail at the top. A cool top for summertime outings. I’ve worn it here with white skinny jeans. (Here’s some of the great tops from last summer’s Stitch Fix, which I’m still enjoying.)
Lavender Brown-Cedric Eyelet Detail Top
And love the tassel detail at the neck. A very special top. (How adorable would this be with heels and a pair of bright cigarette pants for evening?!)
Greylin-Perenie Grommet Detail Top
I was surprised at how flattering this top was. The cutouts and grommet detail make it very slimming. And love the neutral navy color for summer, a softer dark than black.
Rory Beca-Lyndsey Dress
This is a slimming, body skimming sundress in a silky fabric. It’s got a very forgiving A-line shape. I can see throwing this on with flip flops too!
Franco Sarto-Lariza Ankle Strap Espadrille Wedge
Here’s the individual details:
Look how well she coordinates with my new Stitch Fix outfit. With a face that adorable, I think that Lacey might be a foster fail!
We rescued her through Tommy’s Lil Angels, a Los Angeles area pet rescue. They have lots of adorable dogs and cats that would look great with your Stitch Fix outfits too! Check them out.
Do you want to give Stitch Fix
These opinions are all my own. I do receive a small commission if you sign up for Stitch Fix

Wow! If your photo's and selections are any indicator this service really is fab! Awesome! (ps: I already own the cute sun dress and I LOVE it).
These are all so cute! I especially loved the espadrilles. How wonderful to open up a box of such fabulous treats! Enjoy!
Wow, I love all of those pieces! They all look fantastic on you!
I've heard of Stitch Fix a few times in the blog-o-sphere, but I've always thought it was something I sent in my clothes to be fixed up at, ya know "Stitch Fix" lol. Now that I know that it's like having a personal stylist, I'm definitely going to have to go check it out!
What a great concept- I love all the items they've picked!
Thanks! I so love these looks.
These are great on you! I love Stitch Fix. I haven't had a fix lately, so I better get on it.
I took a break and am so glad I came back!
I love the halter top and shoes! You got a good summer fix :)

Yes, I did get a great Fix Thanks for stopping by Danielle!
All gorgeous - but the strangest thing is, I just bought a top today that is exactly the same style as the one you have with the crocheted section.
Thank you! I love the crochet detail on the halter, it has an almost 70's fun flare to it. So funny you found almost the same one!
Happy for this review. I have wanted to give Stitch Fix a try. The few stores I have to visit, the better :)
Alexa, you'll definitely like it if you give it a try!
I have been a fan of Stitch Fix since I got a gift card for Christmas two years ago. I am due to sign up for a Fix and you have inspired me. Very cute items! I agree with you Rosie, that it gets me to try things I would not ordinarily wear and I rarely send anything back.
Oh so glad you are a Stitch Fix fan too! It's whipped me out of my style rut in so many ways!
