My June Stitch Fix review 2015. Colorful casual perfection.
I got my first Stitch Fix box a few months ago and liked it, but this month I got my second box and TOTALLY LOVE IT! The stylist nailed exactly what I was looking for.
I had requested casual stylish tops and jeans that I could wear on a daily basis. I live in LA and it’s a very casual, running around kinda life. I let my Stitch Fix stylist know that I wanted to get away from all of the dark greys and basic black shirts I seemed to have a closetful of. And that I wanted a pair of jeans.
The box was so perfect that I kept the entire Stitch Fix box!
I got a chance to try out all the new summer clothes on a recent getaway to the Ojai Valley Inn in the beautiful little town of Ojai, California.
There were 3 shirts, one pair of boyfriend jeans and a silver statement necklace. The shirts were all unique with details that made them stand out from the usual summer shirts you see everywhere. (And these were shirts that I wouldn’t have picked out for myself.)
The shirts were casual but polished and in great colors; coral, a greenish blue. And each blouse had unique buttons or details.
I’m wearing the green sleeveless top with my new sunglasses for Summer 2015. Tom’s Beachmaster sunglasses in Tortoise. Love the 80’s retro feel. They are comfortable and fit your face really well too. You can get these at Nordstrom Tom’s Beachmaster sunglasses.
I’m wearing the silver statement necklace that was a part of this box. Love the way the statement necklace works with my Brighton cuff (from last season). Here’s a similar Brighton silver cuff.
The shirts were all made of great soft fabrics that move and float. Feminine and polished but still casual. (I’d pair these shirts with cropped pants or a skirt for another summer look.)
Here’s the coral laser cut dolman sleeved tee. A color that is really fresh for summer-and that I never would have even tried on!!
Love the detail!
Love these boyfriend jeans! They are stylish, relaxed and flattering. I really think that I’m going to love wearing these this summer!
I’d been looking for a pair of gladiator sandals with a slight heel. Found these Carlos by Carlos Santana lacy thong sandals . They come in black too, and at $49 I’m thinking I might need to grab that color too before they are gone! You can find these gladiator sandals at Macy’s Carlos by Carlos Santana Sandals
If you haven’t tried Stitch Fix, give it a try to shake up your style a bit. I love the simplicity and ease. Plus it gets me out of my black/grey style rut!
(You can also set a budget of how much you want to spend on each item. And get a box delivered every other month instead of every month.)
Here’s the review of my Stitch Fix March 2015. It was my first Stitch Fix shipment and the tops they sent have become wardrobe staples too.
I’m a fan!
Have you tried Stitch Fix? If so, share some of your pics.
Hope that everyone is having a wonderful summer so far!
