How to Style A White Tee This Season.
Spring is here and it’s finally time to bring out the coolest of the warm weather wardrobe staple, the plain white tee. White tees are just COOL in a not-trying-too-hard, laid back kinda way. The basic white tee’s been cool since James Dean wore one in Rebel Without a Cause and the entire world went crazy.
Here’s my updated twist on how to style a white tee. A little rough, a little polished, fun and not too fussy.
First, I chose a silk off white tee (from Nordstrom) to class it up a bit.
Paired it with a pair of Kut from the Kloth boyfriend jeans from StitchFix. These boyfriend jeans are total favorites! They get lots of wear. They’re slouchy but not too, with just a touch of stretch.
I was so inspired by fashionista Kimberly Key Bell, the fabulous fashionista I profiled recently. Kimberly loves her pearls! So I decided to get inspired and pile on the pearls too. I mixed both freshwater pearls with fabulous fakes in several tones. I didn’t want anything to be too match-y match-y.
Pulled on a black and silver belt, and added black suede lace up booties from Nordstrom.
And can’t leave home without my new Tumi phone wallet. (I’m going to be showing you more about my fabulous Tumi finds in a future post!)
Here are the details on how to style a white tee:
Top: White Silk Tee from Nordstrom (similar)
Boyfriend Jeans: Catherine, Kut from the Kloth boyfriend jeans (also available thru Stitch Fix)
Belt: Gap Clean Leather Belt
Phone wallet: Tumi Larkin Leather Phone Wallet

So, how do you like to wear your white tee now that warmer weather is here?
